I was bound and determined to have Avery dig into her cake. So this week, when she was in a good mood at home, we stripped her down and tried to get her to dig into her cake again.
She very politely started to take small bits to taste...
Wasn't quite sure she liked having frosting on her fingers...
But then, decided this cake thing is kinda cool. Finally!!!
Daddy helped her consume the yummy dessert. 
It took 3 tries, but we finally got Avery to get into her cake! Happy Birthday baby girl!
