Auntie Kristen's Visit

Last weekend we got a visit from our long-lost Cali buddy, Kristen! She was here to hang with the girls and find her wedding dress. We were able to get all the K-M girls together (missing Tammy and we've added Di to our group, she fits right in!) for lunch at our favorite place - Jaliscos in Kirkland. Hello tequila! Avery got to experience her first KM girls event - and she slept right through all the excitement. The "Aunties" getting some quality Avery time. They had to fight over who got to hold her. Round 1: Mandi. We had to check her big purse when she left to make sure it didn't contain 1 Avery Hunt. :)
Happy Hour at Nana & Opa's.
We found Kristen's dress!!! She looks so beautiful, she should be a model for these dresses! It was hard to find THE ONE because she looked so good in all of them. Sorry, no sneak peaks, you'll have to come to the wedding to see it. (Look at my Buddah Baby. My little skinny girl is starting to pack on the chub - it's so cute!)

Our 4th Anniversary trip to Winthrop

Last weekend we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. This year was my year to plan so I booked a weekend in Winthrop at the Sun Mountain Lodge. This was mine and Avery's first trip to Winthrop. It was a 4+ hour drive but we got to explore lots of Washington. We had a great time! Andy even got me a massage and took Avery for a hike while I was gone. What a guy!
Here's the view from the lodge. We had a great weekend weather wise, it was in the upper 80's.
Lounging by the pool. We don't know if Avery has Mommy's or Daddy's skin type yet so she's staying under the shade this summer.
Exploring the town of Winthrop.
Avery was exhausted by the time we got back to the hotel.
One last photoshoot before we leave.
We took the North Cascades Highway back home. What a pretty drive. This is the most amazing Lake I've ever seen. Apparently glaciers breaking off, cause the rocks to rub, and that rock dust in the water reflecting off the sun creates the green color.
We came home to 95 degree weather that even our A/C unit couldn't keep up with. The little princess was hot and sleepy. Look how big she's getting!

Thanks for 10 wonderful years (4 of them married) Andy! I'm truly blessed to have you in my life. Here's to a lifetime of more fun times and great memories. :)

3 Months Cont'd...

I forgot to mention Avery's bad habbit in her 3 month update: TV watching - she is completely mesmerized by TV and will turn her head to watch it no matter where she is or what position she's in. What's that doctor's rule on no TV the first year? Oops.

Here she is watching her "shows." Don't worry, not Mom's soaps but Baby Einstein.
At least Baby Einstein makes her happy. :)

A Hint of Mommy

After Avery's 3 month photoshoot, even Andy is starting to say that Avery now has my eyes. Yes, there is some Mommy in there afterall!

Here's me around Avery's age now. She definitely got my baby figure too - Andy was a small Michelin Man! What do you think? Slight resemblance?

Here's more of a look-alike. Avery and I in baby lifejackets that weren't quite made for itty babies. Avery's life jacket is so much cooler than mine, though it's hard to beat that yellow foam!

3 Months Old

Sunday was Avery's 3 month birthday! Our little Angel is growing! She now weighs 11lbs 11oz and has been in size 1 diapers for a couple weeks. I just packed up all of her newborn outfits - either they are too short for her or her head doesn't fit in them. That was a sad task.

As if she didn't have enough personality before, it just keeps coming. She loves smiling and talking to us now, and can get caught up in some lengthy conversations - which usually end with a small melt-down. It's pretty cute when she gets going. She has definitely become a Daddy's girl. Not only does she still resemble a little Andy Junior, she gets Daddy on lock-down and watches every move he makes. She gives especially big smiles to Daddy, Nana and Grandma, and refuses to look at Mommy when I try to kiss her goodbye in the morning. Little stinker. We're still working on tummy time and think she may get the rolling over thing down this month. She's become quite the drooler - caused mostly by trying to eat her fist all the time. She will not take a pacifier anymore, though we keep trying them all.

She's gotten better about sleep and now sleeps in her own crib, such a big girl! She had no problems with that transition, but I did! She sleeps pretty good now, going to sleep around 9:30 and waking up at 3 and 6 usually.

As usual we had our birthday photoshoot. Unfortunately on her actual birthday she decided to have a major melt-down and crashed before 7:00! This is all I could get on Sunday:

Here are the rest the following 2 days:
Gee, wonder how Daddy got wrapped around that little finger... Her outfits have become her favorite chew toys. My smiley girl. Not digging Mom's 3 month sign.
Such a strong girl, she's been holding her head up like this pretty much since birth.
I couldn't resist the bikini shoots, I've been dying to get her in this thing! Cousin Pat got her the jellys and Nana got her the sunglasses so the outfit was complete. Now all we need is sun!
Bathing beauty!

I love you little stinker! You've changed my life so dramatically and I couldn't imagine not having you in my life. You make me smile and have consumed my heart Love.

Playing at the Hunt Sr's House

We spent last weekend up in Arlington at Grandma & Grandpa Hunt's house with Aunt Jess, Uncle Mike and cousins Braden & Nolan. We even got a visit from Great Grandma and Sarah, Charlie, Katie and Emily!

Here are the cousins playing. Braden didn't want to miss out on a photo opp!
Great Grandma.
Jess and Andy playing with the babies.
Nolan is 5 1/2 weeks younger than Avery but still has her beat in weight and length! (By about 2 lbs almost!) I think Nolan's going to be a basketball player some day - those hands are huge!
Our Annual River Dominos Championship (which hasn't been on the river since year 2). Mike was the champ this year. Score is now Jenn:4 wins, Mike: 3 wins. Jess and Andy are still waiting for their big comeback. :)

Andy's Birthday Photoshoot

Avery looked so cute for Daddy's birthday that of course we had to have a photoshoot! Thanks for the cute dress and matching hat Cindy and Sarah!

Andy's Birthday

Last Saturday was Andy's 32nd birthday. We had a BBQ up at our pool during the day and went bowling at Lucky Strike at night. Grandma and Grandpa Hunt stayed home with Avery so that Daddy and Mommy could have a night out on the town - which was very much appreciated!

Thanks to everyone here who made Andy's birthday a great one!

At Lucky Strike. Kristin actually showed up for BOTH events and kicked all our butts in bowling! Can you believe it?!!!
