2nd Generation Besties

The first week of May Auntie KK and Henley came to visit us to wish Avery an early happy birthday.  (KK has been to all of Avery's birthday parties).  We had a fun time playing with them, getting pedicures and controlling the kid chaos! 

We had a twinsee photoshoot with Henley and Malin.  Those 2 girls are besties - so says their Mommies. :)  Aren't they adorable?!

Thanks for visiting Klisser ladies!  We miss you!

On Papa's birthday, (3/5) Malin decided to start walking!  Here she is walking for the first time in all her cuteness!  Walking to big sis!

Easter

Oh boy am I behind on blog updates!  Let's see if I can catch up quickly...

We started Easter off coloring eggs.  The girls' favorite part was sticking the stickers on each other.

The Saturday before Easter we attended Snoqualmie's annual (huge) egg hunt.  Malin had her game face on!

Ready to go!  The kids had to be extra patient - the Fire Department forgot to pick up the bunny on their way over, so we had to wait an extra 25 minutes to get started.  Oopsies.  Daddy was coaching Avery on the best strategy to finding the Golden Egg.  (which escaped them again this year).

They both did a great job collecting eggs!

Sunday morning we went to Church on the Ridge with Grandma & Papa.  And got home for Easter brunch with Grandma, Papa and Nanie & Opie.  The girls had a great time going through all their loot in their Easter baskets. 

Of course we had a few photo ops. 

And hit the yard to find the egg that the clever bunny left behind.

Malin got some cuddle time in. 

And Avery got a photo op with the neighbors on their arrival home from church.  So cute!

And of course the girls went for a spin in their Mustang with the whole parent/grandparent crew tagging along behind them.

San Diego - Henley's 1st Birthday!

In February we went down to San Diego to see the Klissers and celebrate Henley's 1st birthday!  (And my 8th annual trip to see KK in San Diego).

The day we got into town was also my birthday, so the Klissers took us out for a good time!  At our delicious sushi dinner they did the best happy birthday song ever! 

The next day we took the kids to Legoland. 

Avery got to go on all kids of rides!  She picked KK to go on the first ride with her, lucky KK! 

We got to spend some time at the beach!  It was Malin's first beach experience and she wasn't quite sure about it at first.  Avery got herself quite a lovely shell collection. 

We went to dinner and Avery pretended to be our waitress.  She was very thorough!  After dinner the Daddy's got to go out and party!

We set up a photoshoot with all the kids at our hotel, the beautiful Catamaran Resort.

Sunday we got ready for Henley's big party!  Avery was very Hollywood for the occasion. 

Happy 1st birthday Henley!  KK did a great job on her French Poodle party. 

And got in some pool time!

Monday we had a fabulous breakfast at Mission Cafe before we had to say goodbye to everyone.
